Blessings

This isn't extremely spiritual, just something cool I wanted to share with y'all.

Sunday we started a missions conference at a church in Palm Bay.  After the service, a man walked up to me and said, "Jon what can I do for you this week?"  I don't believe that anyone has ever asked me that question!  It blew me away.  Normally, I would've replied something like, "I could really use an iPad. . ." or something to that effect, I could tell that he was being totally sincere!  Nothing really came to mind, so I simply said, "you can pray for me this week."  He paused and said, "I'm already doing that.  I want to know what I can DO for you this week."  So, I replied, "I honestly don't know.  What can you do?"  He said,  "I tell you what. I'm going to go ahead and bring my truck by tomorrow and you can use it for the rest of the time you are here.  I'll leave you the key.  That way you can get around on your own.  I'm sure it's probably hard for an adult like you to always be riding around in a small car especially with the little guys."

I think it is amazing how God sends things our way when we need them.  If you know me very well then you know I am OCD.  I like for things to have a place and be in that place.  You also know that I like space.  I have to have a certain amount of privacy in the morning in order to focus in my devotions, and space at night in order to wind down and empty my head.  So as you can imagine, me currently living in a prevost bus is quite entertaining. =)  I'm just so thankful that God laid it on that man's heart to do something for me.  I even got to take MY blessing and share it with the fam when we all went out together.  God has done some pretty amazing things for me in my time here at the GFM.  I cannot wait to see how he will provide for all my needs in the future.
